Hi gang! I am learning what it is like being a full-time mommy. Sheesh, this is harder than any job I've ever had! But I love every minute (ok, maybe not the minutes when he is screaming, but...)

I am finding myself needing foods I can either cook/eat with one hand or something to make ahead of time that is kind of a grab it and go sort of meal. Ferris doesn't like to be put down, so I'm finding it hard to eat anything. The worldwide pure protein cans are saving me right now, but getting expensive!

As for Ferris, he is sleeping more now (and even some at night!), is 10 weeks old, and up to 12 pounds. We are still hanging on to breast feeding as much as we can, but I personally think that he isn't getting the nutrients he needs from me and that's why he is resistant to nursing. I should do some research on WLS and breast feeding. Anyway, I gained 34 pounds with the pregnancy and have lost 14.

Thanks for all your help!!

WOW, so good to see you again.  I am glad that things are going good, and just remember, in about 10 more months or less, that baby is going to be walking and won't want you to hold him as much, so enjoy the time you have.  One of the things that I can think of, is make alot of food while he is asleep one of those times.  Chicken, cut up veggies what ever, then grab and go when he is awake.   I am just so glad to see you again.  I have never forgotten the first time I met you a LONG time ago. Take care of yourself and that cutie pie of a baby. Love, Diane

I got to hold him yesterday. He came and spent about an hour with Grandma (pseudo) Liz. It was so much fun. He is really a good boy.  He looks so much like his Momma. She is really a great Mommy.  I am so proud of her. She also by the way looks so great.  The sad news is that they will be leaving Grandma Liz :(.   How are you doing Diane. Liz

Just wanted to say Hi! I have been checking out Ferris's website every week or so and he just gets cuter and cuter! I miss you! I wonder if we can work out a visit before my surgery?

Half way works, although I know it can be a challenge to travel with a tot! LOL

Let me know what your schedule looks like and we will work something out!

Hi, Jenn.  Good to see you posting again.  Just relax!  My "baby" Eric will be 37 on Monday and I am still trying to lose the baby weight!!!!!!!  (How can he be 37 if I'm 39??????) Enjoy that sweet little prince!

Cheers,
Debbi
